Bitcoin Magazine’s iPhone rewards app: the 2023 read-and-earn experience

Updated October 15, 2026: The former Bitcoin Magazine app website and the original US App Store listing could not be verified as available. This page preserves the rewards app we covered in April 2023. It is not a current offer of bitcoin, a download recommendation or instructions for accessing an existing balance.

The Bitcoin Magazine app offered a read-and-earn model: users encountered Bitcoin-related content and promotional codes, with rewards expressed in satoshis. The official September 2023 product page, preserved by the Internet Archive, documents that approach and distinguishes the rewards app from a general-purpose Bitcoin wallet.

How the 2023 promotion worked

The archived page described reading articles and redeeming “Flash Codes” shared through social channels, events and newsletters. It also described Lightning-based payouts. Those descriptions explain the product’s historical design; they do not show that codes, balances or withdrawals work today.

The two original posts below are dated examples of the app’s promotions. Their codes and advertised amounts should be read as historical material, not current earning opportunities.

We have removed the failed installation link and the old instructions encouraging readers to accumulate or withdraw rewards. No replacement app or closure date has been verified in this update. The original screenshots and posts remain here to document what the 2023 product offered.
