Radio Garden Live is an app that provides a unique way to explore radio stations from all over the world. While Apple Music or Spotify have its own 24-hour continuous radio stations, there are still thousands of stations broadcasting constantly, and Radio Garden Live lets you discover them all.
This iOS app has a Google Earth-like globe of the world, with green dots appearing as you spin it. Each green dot represents a location where there is at least one radio station, and tapping on any of them will start playing that station. The app’s interface also includes a subtle sound effect of an old-time tuning in as the connection buffers, which creates a nostalgic experience.
Whether you’re searching for a specific station or exploring a region, the app provides an easy way to find stations. You can use the search feature to look for a station’s name or the region where it’s broadcasting from. The app will then show a list of the most popular stations in that area, and you can tap on a station to start listening.
Once you’ve found a station you like, you can mark it as a favorite, share it with others, or even see where it’s located on the globe. The app is available on both the iPhone and iPad, and there’s also a version for Macs. However, some users have reported that the Mac version can be inconsistent, with some staff members listening to it over Safari and others needing to switch to Firefox for it to work reliably.
The app is free and ad-supported, but you can remove the ads with an in-app purchase of $2.99. Radio Garden Live is a great way to discover new music, learn about other cultures, and immerse yourself in different languages. It’s a unique and fun way to explore the world of radio, and it’s perfect for anyone who loves music or wants to experience new things.
In a nutshell, Radio Garden Live is an app that provides a unique and easy way to explore radio stations from all over the world. Whether you’re looking for a specific station or just want to discover new music, this app is a great way to do it. With its Google Earth-like globe interface and easy-to-use search feature, Radio Garden Live is perfect for anyone who loves music or wants to experience new cultures.
