Whirlpool will launch Apple Watch app to control its appliances
Whirlpool just announced at CES 2018 that it will be become the first appliance maker to fully integrate with the Apple Watch. More than 20 of its WiFi enabled appliances will be supported by the Apple Watch app initially at the launch of the app in early 2018.

Apple Watch Can Detect Hypertension and Sleep Apnea
A study just released by the University of California San Francisco and Apple Watch health startup Cardiogram, strongly suggests that the Apple Watch can detect hypertension and sleep apnea with very high accuracy. The study recruited 6,115 participants, which used the Cardiogram app over a period of time.
Apple Watch dominates wearable market
Analytical company Canalys just published a new report, which states that Apple regained the #1 position in the wearable market (Apple does not provide official sales figures for the Apple Watch, but stated that its wearable category also including AirPods and Beats, grew 75% year over year).
