FireX Browser

A browser manager and link router designed for macOS.

Set this app as your system link handler, then let it open each link in the right browser. Use Chrome for work, Safari for private browsing, Firefox for testing, or any browser you prefer.

Smart Link Rules
Route links by website, path, keyword, regular expression, or source app.

Default Browser Control
Choose the browser used when no rule matches. You can also ask every time, ask only when Option is pressed, or save the link for later.

Workspaces
Group frequently used websites by context, such as Work, Reading, Design, or Developer Resources. Open one link or the whole workspace at once.

Global Search
Search or open a URL from a global shortcut. Pick the browser and search engine before opening.

History and Statistics
View links opened through the app, recent activity, frequently visited sites, browser usage, and 7-day or 30-day summaries.

Browser Management
Scan installed browsers, check running and default status, open browsers, hide unwanted items, and discover more browsers from the built-in catalog.

Cleaner Links
Optionally remove tracking parameters and resolve short links before routing.

Data Control
Export, import, or clear app data when needed, and choose how long link history is retained.

iCloud Sync
Optionally enable sync in Settings. After relaunching the app, workspaces, bookmarks, link rules, and saved-for-later links sync through your private iCloud database to other Macs using the same Apple Account. Link history and device preferences remain local.

Menu Bar Access
Open the main window, switch browsers, launch workspace links, and handle saved-for-later links from the menu bar.

=== Privacy ===

The app only records links opened through it. It does not read browser history, bookmarks, cookies, or tabs from other browsers.

By default, your data stays on your Mac. If you enable iCloud sync, only workspaces, bookmarks, link rules, and saved-for-later links are stored in your private iCloud database and synced to other Macs using the same Apple Account. Link history and device preferences remain local. Synced data does not pass through our servers or any third-party server.

The app has no ads, no third-party analytics, and no separate app account requirement.

Network access is only used for features you choose, such as favicons, short-link resolution, browser websites, or support pages.

=== Pro and In-App Purchases ===

The free version includes essential features. Pro unlocks the complete feature set and is available as a monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase. Every plan unlocks the same Pro features.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after purchase confirmation. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your App Store account settings. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew. No free trial is offered. Eligible purchases can be restored with Restore Purchases.
