Avot mV was a video service from Avot Media, Inc. The December 13, 2007 listing linked to avotmv.com and described searching, personalizing and playing internet videos on iPhone and iPod touch.

Discovery and playback in one flow

Those three actions describe a sequence. Search finds a candidate, personalization shapes what is useful to the viewer, and playback is the final result. For a mobile video service, finding a title would only be part of the experience if the phone could not then display it.

The original entry does not explain video conversion, supported source sites, account requirements or what personalization meant in the interface. It also provides no evidence of offline downloads or rights to redistribute a particular video. Those are distinct capabilities, not consequences of the broad phrase “video delivery platform.”

Current service operation has not been verified and no video was played for this article. This historical overview retains the Avot Media identity and original web destination without treating an archive capture as a working video catalogue.
