Understand the premise
AgingBooth applies an ageing-style transformation to a face photograph. PiVi & Co’s listing describes selecting or taking a picture, adjusting it and saving or sharing the result. The effect is entertainment: it is not a prediction of how a particular person will look in the future.
Choose a photograph with permission
A clear face image makes the intended visual joke easier to understand, but obtaining the person’s agreement matters more than producing a convincing result. Avoid using a stranger’s photograph or distributing a colleague’s transformed portrait without asking. A humorous effect can be received very differently outside the conversation where it was created.
Label the result honestly
When sharing, explain that the image has been transformed. Keep the original separate so the edited version does not become confused with a genuine photograph later. Review the app’s current privacy information and device compatibility, especially when returning from an old recommendation.
