Recognize the older name
Apple’s lookup still identifies app ID 376101648 as Find My iPhone, with metadata dating to an older release. That makes it useful evidence for the identity behind this archived link. It does not make the old installation instructions the right starting point for every current iPhone.

Apple’s current Find My support hub covers locating devices and personal items, and points to iCloud.com/find for device location. Follow that documentation for the device you own. A map result, a sound and a lost-device action serve different purposes; read the explanation of an action before choosing it, especially where account access or device data is involved.
Prepare while the phone is with you
Find the relevant settings and account information before they are urgently needed. Make sure you know how you would reach official help from another device. Keep recovery information somewhere you can access without relying only on the missing phone. This article connects an old app name with Apple’s current support route; it does not promise that every device can be located in every circumstance, or that a surviving historical listing proves modern compatibility.
