Disney World Maps for iPhone: the old app and today’s options

Identify the old VersaEdge Disney World Maps app, compare today’s Magic Guide and My Disney Experience options, and find official download links.

Magic Guide for Disney World app icon from VersaEdge Software’s official Apple App Store listing.

If you followed our old Disney World Maps link, it referred to an iPhone app by VersaEdge Software, LLC, not Disney’s own app. The original App Store identifier was 359957202. This guide preserves that identity and explains the current map options from the same developer and from Disney.

What the original Disney World Maps app offered

A June 2010 snapshot of our listing describes maps for Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. The app showed attractions, dining locations and bathrooms, with search, zoom and GPS positioning. Its version 1.2 notes added attraction wait times and the user’s location on the map.

Those are historical features of that specific app. Apple’s US catalog returned no listing for the old identifier when checked on October 15, 2026, so we cannot offer it as a verified current download.

Magic Guide: a current app from the same developer

VersaEdge now lists Magic Guide for Disney World on the App Store. It has a different identifier, 365817457; that distinction matters if you are trying to identify an old purchase. We have not verified that purchases or settings from Disney World Maps transfer to Magic Guide.

The current listing describes interactive park maps, dining menus, park schedules and crowd-sourced wait times. Magic Guide is free to download with optional in-app purchases. Some features, including forecasts and advanced menu search, are part of its premium offering. Check the purchase screen for the current terms before paying. At this review, the iPhone version requires iOS 17.2 or later.

The developer’s Magic Guide website explains the product range and links to support. It also makes clear that Magic Guide is independent of The Walt Disney Company. The icon shown on this page is the current Magic Guide icon from Apple’s listing, not an image of the retired Disney World Maps interface.

Disney’s official option: My Disney Experience

For your Disney account, booked plans and official resort services, start with Disney’s My Disney Experience app page. Disney describes access to vacation plans and MagicMobile features for eligible devices. That page provides the official download route and explains which services require valid admission or other eligibility.

The practical choice depends on the task: use the official app for Disney account and booking functions, then consider Magic Guide if its map, menu and wait-time presentation suits you. Crowd-sourced wait times and forecasts are planning information, not a promise about the queue you will encounter.
