Apple’s biggest iPhone transformation in years is almost here. iPhone Duo pre-orders open October 16, 2026, and Apple has already activated its early reservation preparation system.
But there’s a catch: Apple’s first foldable iPhone could be difficult to get on launch day.
According to MacRumors, Apple is preparing an impressive retail launch, but initial inventory is expected to be limited.
iPhone Duo Reservations: Get Ready Now!
Since October 12, Apple’s Get Ready feature has allowed customers to prepare their purchases before pre-orders officially begin.
Here’s the schedule:
- October 12: Pre-order preparation opens
- October 16: Pre-orders begin at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 2 PM CEST
- October 23: Official release and first deliveries

Select your color, storage, carrier, trade-in, and payment method. When ordering opens, you’ll be able to check out much faster.
