The March 31, 2011 comparison examined Facebook’s own app alongside Facely HD and iSocialize. It focused on differences in layout, customization and how social tasks were organized.
This is a historical comparison. It does not establish that either third-party client remains available or can still connect to Facebook, and old sale prices are not current offers.
The same service can have different routes
The review described the Facebook app as a relatively direct interface. Facely HD emphasized themes and a more consolidated layout, while iSocialize combined Facebook with other activities, including Twitter access.
The interesting comparison is the route to a task. Finding a conversation, reading an update and attaching a photograph can require different numbers of steps even when the underlying service is the same.
Consolidation can introduce a detour
The original review noted that iSocialize handled photo uploading through another component. That illustrates a tradeoff: placing many activities in one product does not necessarily put every action on the same screen.
To compare interfaces, choose a short sequence you perform regularly and follow it from beginning to end. Note where the app preserves context and where it makes you switch views.
Keep access separate from appearance
An attractive interface is not evidence of current authorization, compatibility or account protection. Those questions require current information about the actual product and connection method.
The restored article preserves the three products discussed in 2011 and their documented interface contrast, while avoiding unsupported recommendations to enter account details into an old client.
