Glimpse was a time-lapse and location app from be | daronco, LLC, identified by Apple ID 331515131. The November 26, 2009 listing described capturing a sequence of photographs and playing it alongside a location trace.
Two views of the same journey
The historical viewer placed the moving photo sequence in the upper part of the screen and a Google map below it. Images supplied the visible experience, while the route gave a spatial account of where the sequence had been recorded. That pairing is what distinguished the described viewer from a simple slideshow.
The original workflow also included uploading to a Glimpse cloud service and sharing a link by email or Facebook. Local capture, the synchronized viewer and online sharing were therefore separate parts of the product. Preserving photographs would not by itself preserve an old cloud link or the map integration.
The archive does not document capture intervals, export formats or the precision of the recorded route. Those details should not be borrowed from a modern time-lapse app.
Current app availability and cloud operation remain unverified. No location was recorded, sequence exported or shared link tested. This recovered page retains the developer identity and the original photo-plus-route concept.
