The historical App Store listing identifies NovaStorm Software and explicitly says the app was discontinued and would no longer receive support or updates. Its particular approach to grades
The developer described entering class averages rather than recording every assignment. The listing also mentioned credit-hour and AP support, a configurable grade-point scale and a browser for consulting online grading services. These explain the app’s intended workflow at the time; they do not establish that a school’s current portal will work inside its old browser.
The scale matters as much as the arithmetic
A GPA is meaningful only in the context of the institution’s rules. A calculator can produce a tidy number from the wrong assumptions. Before using any replacement, compare its grade scale, course weighting, rounding and treatment of repeated or pass/fail courses with the published policy that applies to you.
For example, averaging three course results equally and weighting them by different credit values are different calculations. Neither method becomes correct merely because an app labels the result “GPA.” Keep the source course results visible so a discrepancy can be explained.
Use the official record for official decisions
A personal calculator can help explore a scenario or identify a question to ask an adviser. It does not replace the transcript or the registrar’s calculation. Keep hypothetical grades separate from completed grades and note the date of the information used.
If you still have an old EasyGPA installation, preserve useful records before changing the device. Avoid entering current account credentials into an unsupported embedded browser simply because it once worked with a school website.
