Demolition: a colored-block game in the early iPhone browser

The original Demolition was a small web game from the kprobe.com iPhone collection.

Demolition was a small game linked at kprobe.com/kprobe/iPhone/dm.php. The August 2, 2007 entry described destroying colored blocks on an iPhone and presented it as a free diversion at the time.

One visual task

Color gives the player an immediate way to distinguish pieces without reading labels. A compact block board is also a natural subject for a touch display: the objects of attention are visible in the play area, rather than hidden behind a long menu. These are observations about the documented premise, not a reconstruction of its exact rules.

The brief source does not specify whether blocks had to match, how many could be removed at once, how points were awarded or when a round ended. It would be misleading to supply the rules of a different block puzzle under this historical name.

The old description’s free-price claim is historical, and current playability has not been verified. This profile preserves the original destination and the colored-block concept without claiming a hands-on game test.
