iPump Yoga was part of the PumpOne exercise-app family, identified by Apple ID 293027409. The review preserved at this April 8, 2009 URL described three pose sequences, called flows, supported by photographs and short videos.
Instruction and navigation competed for attention
The historical reviewer described swiping between poses and tapping for additional guidance. That creates an interface tradeoff: the phone can provide a closer explanation, but reaching for a control interrupts the activity being explained. The review discussed that tension; this article does not claim to have tried the routine.
The edition also included repetition and weight entries, a written session log and a way to return to the previous position after an interruption. The old review reported that some entered data was not retained reliably. That is an attributed observation about the reviewed version, not a reproduced bug or a statement about later software.
What the surviving review establishes
It documents an approach to guided exercise and record-keeping. It does not establish clinical benefits, suitability for every person or the quality of every instruction. Promotional comparisons with classes are not treated as evidence that an app replaces individualized instruction.
Current availability and compatibility remain unverified. No exercise, data-retention or health-outcome test was performed for this new historical overview.
