ArtStudio for iPad: identify the legacy app before moving artwork

Lucky Clan labels this ArtStudio edition as legacy. Preserve your original files before comparing it with Artstudio Pro.

ArtStudio for iPad -Paint&Draw is the legacy Lucky Clan app identified by Apple app ID 364017607. Its description explicitly distinguishes it from the successor, Artstudio Pro. That distinction matters when you are looking for an old drawing, considering a new purchase or following instructions written for a different edition.

Start with the artwork you already have

The legacy listing describes painting and editing tools, layers, masks and export formats including PNG, JPEG and PSD. Apple’s record checked in September 2026 lists a January 2019 update. Those details identify the product; they do not guarantee that it installs on a current device or that a newer app preserves every editing feature in an old document.

If an existing installation still opens your work, keep an untouched copy before experimenting. Export a small project with a few clearly named layers, then inspect it in the destination you plan to use. Check whether the image looks right and whether the layers remain useful. A file that opens successfully may still be flattened or behave differently when you resume editing.

Choose the edition around the task

For a new project, decide whether you need simple sketching, layered painting or detailed photo editing, then read the current product information for the edition you are actually considering. Do not apply an Artstudio Pro tutorial to the legacy app without checking its controls. The Lucky Clan developer profile helps distinguish the publisher’s separate products without relying only on similar names or icons.
