Yoga Trainer Pro: custom pose sequences on the early iPhone

NexStudios Japan’s historical app organized yoga poses and let users assemble their own sequences.

Yoga Trainer Pro was the NexStudios Japan app covered by the November 20, 2008 listing. The surviving description advertised hundreds of poses, guides for different experience levels and a way to customize yoga sequences.

A library and a sequence serve different purposes

A pose library helps a reader locate an individual item. A sequence adds order: the selected items become a session that can be reviewed as a whole. That distinction explains the app’s organizational premise without assuming the contents of its catalogue or how its custom-sequence editor worked.

The brief archive does not establish whether instruction used photos, video or audio. It also does not identify timers, progress tracking or any current subscription. Those features should not be added simply because later fitness apps often include them.

The original promotional language described the app as suitable for everyone. This historical overview does not turn that claim into an assessment of an individual’s exercise needs or a guarantee of health benefits. No physical routine or instruction quality was tested.

Current availability and compatibility of the NexStudios edition remain unverified. The developer name is retained to distinguish this historical product from similarly titled yoga apps.
