Gin n GyroscopePosted in Entertainment on 21 Jun 2010

Of all the things I thought the gyroscope could be used for on the upcoming iPhone 4, I failed to anticipate this. DrunkOMeter will hit the App Store around the time of the iPhone 4 release, and will utilize the gyroscope to measure exactly how hard you have been partying. To use this app, all you have to do is complete three simple tasks when sober and then again after you’ve had some drinks — the difference in how wobbly you are is an indicator of how drunk you must be. Ridiculous. Imagine — even though the app is only $0.99, if the people who actually took the time to rate and review it are only a fraction of the users out there, this app is making bank! So, of course, I just had to download the game to see why Angry Birds is causing such a fuss. And, naturally, I wanted so badly to defy the popular vote and dislike it; I couldn’t.
