What a fun little application. It was pretty cool to have access to my 78GB music library at the house party I was at last weekend.

i think this is where mobile media is going. i never had to upload or sync my files with anything. i just told webot where the stuff was that i wanted to get, and now i can listen to music on my iPhone even when its stored on my computer!

I was a little dubious of the iPhone as a media provider when I got it due to its miserly storage space and a general distaste for iTunes. but being able to hook up access to all five of my pc's and mac's (interacting peaceably for once)and get instant searchable results from over 250gbs of music. w.o.w. I'm hooked.

Webot just announced support for media on MacOS and Linux as well as PC, so now I can get my content from multiple machines regardless of what they're running. I liked the UI and the simple install as Bob described; and the player interfaces is sweet. But the iPhone interface manages to look just like a native app. Sweet!

wow is all i can say. I bought my ipod touch today and everysince I havent put it down.. from windows live messenger to this webot thing its fricking genius.
