Smartphones are great, but inherently dangerous on the roads. People can’t seem to disconnect from emailing or texting while driving, creating a situation of too many tasks, not enough hands (or eyes for that matter). Fortunately, some savvy app developers have realized the need to address this issue and have created Textn’Drive. With this app, you don’t need to risk your life on the road to respond to an email. Textn’Drive reads your emails aloud to you and enables you to respond to them using your voice! It’s like the next generation of handsfree mode! What’s more, the SMS element of the app is in development, so you will soon be able to do the same with your texts. This is the ideal app for frantic business types or email addicts in general, and there’s no better time to invest in Textn’Drive than now, during their 50% off launch special. Keep your hands and eyes on the road, and let your voice take care of the rest.

A great feature of some computer web browsers is the option for private or incognito browsing, or the ability for to surf the web without leaving a trace of what pages you’ve visited. Well, now you have the same capability from your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with Private Browser (Incognito Browser). All you have to do is use the app to conduct all your web-related activities, and your browsing history as well as any cookies are completely gone, without a trace. So, if you tend to engage in confidential activity, if you like your privacy, or if you’re planning a super secret surprise, this is the perfect app to have so that you can keep your cover, no matter what device you’re using.

There have been so many GPS apps created that has the sole purpose of trying to help people get to a certain location. This one however, is different because it also has the ability to keep people in touch with their friends and family while they are on a trip.

As I have previously mentioned, I really enjoy apps that help people to be better organized. I myself am pretty challenged when it comes to organization and use any help that I get. 2Do Lite and Errands are two apps that are meant to help people like me keep better track of tasks, projects and of all things that need to get done. However, both apps that happen to also be free, attempt to achieve this in different ways. 2Do Lite and Errands are effective but it really is a matter of taste in terms of which one is better than the other. I prefer Errands and I will outline why that is as I compare both apps.

The All-Seeing Eye. Mysterious. Enigmatic. It has long been the symbol used by the ancient Egyptians and the Free Masons alike. The true meaning of the symbol is still elusive however.
On the other hand, SHAPE Services’ application Mobiscope brings the literal meaning of the All-Seeing Eye on mobile.
Mobiscope is essentially a surveillance app that lets you view in REAL TIME your USB and IP cameras on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. If you are worried about leaving your child/pet alone in the house, need to spy on your enemies, or want to figure out who keeps on stealing your afternoon snack(*insert a very angry face right here*), Mobiscope truly is the perfect application for you. Packing is an activity that can be a lot more painful than necessary and can last a really long time. I have the tendency to pack what I think I need once and then overdo it, run out of space in my bag and get so confused at what I have packed and what I haven’t, that I empty the bag and start all over again. Therefore, I hate packing, I think its a waste of time and really kind of a pain. Here is an app that will organize everything before it hits the suitcase and as a result, will allow you to pack more efficiently and without taking up so much time.

There is nothing like the feeling of holding a guitar for the first time, its heavy, awkward and all around uncomfortable. The more you practice, the more the instrument becomes an extension of your limbs and you start to wonder how you ever existed without it. This, to me is the best thing about learning an instrument and taking the time to master the craft of the instrument. However, here is an app that allows you to learn how to play the instrument without even holding a guitar.
