In our age of technology, TV shows, internet, cellphones, and video games often replace our need to socialize outside our little worlds. A few weeks ago, ratemyprofessors.com finally decided to jump on the app bandwagon. This is great news for college students all around, as the app, like the website, will feature over 10 million reviews and comments for more than 1 million professors at 6,000+ schools within and beyond US borders. Now students can have this useful information in the palm of their hands when signing up for classes, talking with fellow students, or figuring out if a class is worth staying in — without having to rely on computer access. Students hold the grade book now, and at only $0.99, this app is certainly A-worthy.

A unique new app just showed up in AppStore. This idea seems on the surface, but nobody implemented it until now. Your phone has quality speaker and microphone, why would you buy a PC headset if you have your phone already; and phone can be used as wireless headset since it has a WiFi connectivity, isn’t it cool? Get the Headset app from AppStore, download and install Headset desktop part run both and voila you can use your phone as wireless headset with Skype, gTalk, MSN, Yahoo and many other PC applications.

First of all congratulations everybody that the wait and hype is finally over. All of us at iPhoneApplicationList.com are very excited about the new device. We see a lot of opinions in the press that it looks like “overgrown giant iPhone” or that there are no new features on the iPad compared to iPhone.

I do not think so! The tremendous difference  is exactly in the screen size, content (movies, newspapers, books) made for big screen and WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT — APPS for big screen! Developers, just think about the opportunity of developing and using new innovative interfaces with huge multi-touch OLED beauty! This is a new platform even if it looks same as iPhone and huge challenge to get your applications right and discover all the new use cases of the device.

Do not get mislead. We are going to see a success of iPad.
