Charity Finder is coming out with an update! If you consider yourself a charitable person, this is something you should definitely keep an eye out for. Charity Finder 2.0 is scheduled to release on August 1st, and will feature 1,800 new non-profit organizations  to learn about (in addition to the ones already available on Charity Finder) and a donate option so you can donate directly from your phone to an organization of choice. Additionally, the update will have an events feature that allows its users to be notified of charity events in their respective areas. Not only will the update encourage the acts of loving kindness that are necessary in this world, it will serve as a networking tool so that all [iPhone using] philanthropists of the world can unite! Out of the thousands of apps in the App Store, Charity Finder is currently the only one that gives back through the mobile medium, and its update will take altruism to a whole other level.

A fun game enjoyed by many Facebook users, Bumper Stars combines the likes of pinball, pool, and shuffleboard, complete with colorful graphics and bumping beavers. The release of this game-turned-app, created by PressOK Entertainment and Large Animal Games, was announced today, and will bring an addictive favorite to the app store. Those with Facebook accounts can now access the game from their phone  as well as the web and continue challenging their friends, and those without accounts will be introduced to another fun way to waste/spend/kill time on their iPhone or iPod Touch.

As well as Safari or FireFox are browsers for html pages, SQLTouch is a browser for MySql remote databases. SQLTouch lets you remotely browse any MySql database from your iPhone/iPod Touch, with just a few clicks, and everywhere you go! SQLTouch doesn’t require any knowledge about SQL language programming. Pix Remix allows its users to create collages (complete with captions) and even mini-narratives to send to friends or share on sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
