While shopping for clothes can be immensely fun, it can also be a source of some serious inner turmoil, turning a simple day perusing stores into an frantic effort to compare prices, styles, and ask the most important questions of all: is this really me? Well, even if your friends can not accompany you to aid in your endeavors and ease your mind about choices and purchases, Pose is here to save your shopping day. The iPhone app allows you to snap a picture of you in your piece (from many angles, if you like), add thoughts or notes about it, and note where you got it and how much it costs. You can share it with friends over Facebook, Twitter, and e-mail, and if people give you feedback on the look, Pose automatically notifies you. Finally, if you need to re-locate a store or find a new one, Pose has GPS capabilities built-in, so that you can waste no time in getting back to claim your threads or indulge in new ones. However, when I conducted a search for such food scanning apps, I found two that go by the same name (with the exception of a space), but have drastically different functions. Here’s a breakdown of Food Scanner versus Foodscanner, so you can choose the scanner that best suits you: Read the rest of this entry »
