One of the best things the iPhone has done for mobile gaming is enable realtime competition. Since it is so fast, is with you at all times, and is by nature a facilitator of communication, the iPhone has taken multiplayer games to a new dimension, enabling people from across the world to engage each other in virtual competition. Gone are the days when picture books and rag dolls were enough to entertain kids. Every day more and more youngsters are clutching iPhones and electronics as if they were their binkies.
