Sushi, the essence of Japanese food culture, is now increasingly popular in New York, Paris, Milan, and all over the world.
This App examines fifty-two topics in English and Japanese, including white meat, red meat, silver-skinned fish, other seafood, chirashi-zushi, maki-mono (rolls), tsumami (appetizer), and shiru-mono (soups). You can find at a glance everything you need to know about sushi, ranging from the ecology of fish, to the origin of its name, the secret of its delicious taste, how to eat it, and even its history, sushi etiquette, ingredients, and which sake complements sushi. The way a person orders sushi and enjoys its flavor reveals that person’s character. This app aims to help people outside Japan learn about Japanese culture through sushi.
