We blogged about IM+ All-in-One Messenger a while ago. Today I want to introduce to you IM+ Lite — an ad supported version of IM+ that was updated this weekend. We spent a lot of time trying various free and paid multi-IM clients for iPhone, and the winner in free messenger client category is the IM+ Lite app.

IM+ Lite features the same list of popular messaging services as full version has, except Skype and Facebook. It also supports Twitter and provides extra features like built-in browser, speech recognition (as in-app purchase) and Emoji.

Like the full version IM+ Lite allows its users to send and receive photos, videos (3Gs only), dictate and send voice messages as MP3 files which can be played anywhere.

As I have previously mentioned, I really enjoy apps that help people to be better organized. I myself am pretty challenged when it comes to organization and use any help that I get. 2Do Lite and Errands are two apps that are meant to help people like me keep better track of tasks, projects and of all things that need to get done. However, both apps that happen to also be free, attempt to achieve this in different ways. 2Do Lite and Errands are effective but it really is a matter of taste in terms of which one is better than the other. I prefer Errands and I will outline why that is as I compare both apps.

I was perusing the app store and in the number one spot on the list of top 25 free apps I discovered Type n Talk.  If you’re sick, mute, or somehow unable to speak, this is the app for you!  Okay, admittedly, that’s not a big market at all. But it can definitely earn its place as the top free entertainment app in the app store (depending on your creativity). Read the rest of this entry »

Organic, local-grown, pesticide-free vegetables are taking positions of prominence in the grocery market.  The idea is that these are healthier, tastier, and more economically sustainable than other sources of food.  I don’t know whether this is true or not, but I will admit there is a sort of comfort knowing where your food comes from.  But why stop at buying these kinds of produce when you can make your own?  With the right kind of attention and willingness to learn, you can grow your own food free of pesticides or preservatives.  Vegetable Garden Guides will show you how to grow your own foods, providing you with a useful tool whether you want to be more environmentally friendly or just like the taste of homegrown vegetables. Chances are you want to look good and stay in shape but aren’t near where you want to be. We all know that exercise is the way to go if you really want to stay in shape (diets almost always fail). But who has time to exercise these days? We work all day and when we get home all we want to do is relax or go out and have fun. There’s simply not enough time in the day or energy in our bodies to stick more hard work into our schedules. Hundred PushUps takes the notions that we don’t have the time to work out or don’t know how to get in shape and throws it out the window.
