The AOL Radio app is one that serves all your radio needs in an app that is easy to use. The radio is a tricky thing these days with everyone choosing instead to use their ipods and itunes as a source of music. However, for those who enjoy mixing it up and still listen to the radio this app is great.
At first, it asks you to choose a genre of music, they have everything from New Music, Christmas Music, Decade Music to Indie. Once you have done that, you choose from a list of radio stations and then just like that you start listening to music. I chose to write about AOL Radio because I believe it is one of the best of its kind of app. Take Pandora for example, I would choose AOL Radio over Pandora in a second. In my opinion, AOL Radio is so much easier to use than Pandora. The search tool in the Pandora app, by artist name, takes away the best part of listening to the radio; not knowing what song is going to be played next. It is something that is so much a part of the AOL Music app and not for Pandora.
The best thing about the AOL Radio app is that they give you so many radio stations to choose from, you could literally spend no time at all listening to commercials. In order to make the most out of the app I would definitely recommend taking advantage of the favourites tab to be able to go from your favourite stations easily especially if you don’t want to have to listen to commercials. Another great thing about this app is that you could go so easily from listening to one genre of music to another. The AOL Radio app is an app for someone who wants to mix things up with how they listen to music. It will give you the opportunity to hear all the songs in a genre of your choosing.
