iPhone developers have taken it upon themselves to develop applications for nearly anything that would improve your life, yet, through a great deal of research, I’ve discovered that America’s gridiron league can’t be found anywhere near the iPad. Since its creation nearly a century ago, the National Football League has acquired an astounding fan base that averages almost 70,000 people per game, but whether the fans are on the go or tailgating in the parking lot, they aren’t getting their game-time information through the world’s new technologies. I think it’s about time developers collaborate with NFL.com to create an iPad application that would allow its fans to read player bios, check scores from any team, get news about the NFL, and maybe even watch live footage of the game. Developers start your engines!… because there isn’t an app for that. I can only hope there will be one by the 2010 Regular Season.
