According to the initial analysis of iPad pre-orders at Investor Village’s AAPL Sanity board, about 120,000 iPads were sold in Day 1. Customers preferred the cheaper Wi-Fi-only iPad over the Wi-Fi plus 3G model. 16, 32 and 64GB iPads are equally popular.
