iWaiter: The easy-to-use iPhone application designed to help you keep track of annual earnings and end-of-shift tip outs.
iWaiter—a new application built especially for restaurant staff—designed to assist in tip outs at the end of the night and keep track of earnings throughout the year. The easy-to-use interface and built-in database will enable servers, bartenders, and bussers to correctly calculate tipping out to co-workers and accurately keep track of annual tip earnings.
As anyone in the restaurant business knows, there is a micro economy of tipping out to fellow work staff at the end of every shift. This tip money rarely gets calculated correctly, but iWaiter calculates it for you!
iWaiter also has the ability to keep a running history of your tips throughout the year. You can even review your average tip percentage for the year—or a specific day of the week. This makes iWaiter especially useful for waiters and bartenders who want to know which shifts are most profitable and how much money they are actually earning.
iWaiter, brought to you by TigerStripes LLC, was created by an actual server in the restaurant industry. One of the founders saved his tip money for four months to help pay for the costs of the app: “My brother-in-law helped me create a spreadsheet so I could learn how to save for the future, and it just turned into this awesome app idea we had.
