Today, Star Walk celebrates its first birthday — but it’s giving the presents, not receiving them. If you haven’t looked into the app yet, today is the day to do it — a HUGE discount is being offered on it from the App Store (today only, it will be on sale for ONE DOLLAR!). Furthermore, Star Walk’s blog will have a small astronomy quiz that enters its takers in a chance to win promo codes, iTunes gift cards, and t-shirts. All these goodies aside, the app alone is exciting in and of itself — the graphics are amazing, the app is very educational, and it is like having the night sky (complete with accurate constellations) in the palm of your hand*. So, be sure to celebrate with Star Walk, and give it some stars of its own!
