Use Symmetry Lab to draw colorful patterns with a variety of types of symmetry, or let the pattern generator produce its own images. Simple, soothing, and beautiful, this artistic environment is engaging for creative-minded children and adults alike.

Use the square buttons on the left to change brush size and the pattern generator’s drawing style: normal, jagged, right angle, or dots. Select a type of symmetry from the top segmented control and a color or pattern from the bottom. Draw a pattern yourself or press play to start the pattern generator. Press the disk icon to save a pattern to Photos. Shake to erase.
