Events Finder

Description:
Events Finder is the first iphone app that provides events from multiple event sources, such as Upcoming,Eventbrite, and TicketStumbler, all in one app! We also filter out duplicates so you only see unique events across multiple sources. You can search for events based on your current location or find events in another city. Events Finder works in all U.S cities and can even find events in major cities around the world!

What sets us apart:
Although there are other event apps on the appstore, what sets Events Finder apart is the fact that we provide events from multiple event sources in a single app so users get a lot more choices and don’t have to switch between multiple apps or sites to find whats going on.

Events Finder v1.0 comes with the following features -

The making of Events Finder:
This app was developed by a two person team – Anand Biligiri & Srinivas Raovasudeva (cousins).

As part of developing Events Finder, we worked directly with the event source providers such as Eventbrite and Ticketstumbler to recommend API changes and enhancements on their side to accomplish building Events Finder (Thanks Tom – TicketStumbler and Julie – Eventbrite)

We have got a lot of useful feedback from our beta testers and we are already planning updates to add more event sources and features.We feel we have built a useful app and use it ourselves when we are out and about San Francisco.

Known issue:
We are adding some more smarts to our uniquing framework and hope to make it a lot better in our next update. Currently there may be some duplicate events.
