MusicMate Jukebox transforms your ipod or iphone into a jukebox. It’s great for parties or any other occasion where you’re listening to music with your friends.
Before MusicMate, you only had two options. You could create a playlist in advance, or you could pick one song at a time to play. Either way, you couldn’t add new songs to the list without stopping the current song or playlist you’re listening to.
MusicMate works differently; you and your friends can view your music library and add songs to the “queue” (or line) to be played when the current song is finished. It works just like an old-fashioned jukebox or a DJ at a bar or party where you can request a song and a few minutes later the song is played. Everyone is able to listen to their favorite songs without having to hover over the ipod/iphone and play songs one at a time.
Once you get MusicMate Jukebox, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it – and why nobody thought of this sooner! Download it now and give it a try!

Based on an intution training exercise. Ask a Yes/No question; two random abstract images will appear. Each will be randomly assigned to “yes” or “no” (behind the scenes.) You choose the image that most appeals to you, and then it will be revealed whether that was the “yes” or “no” image.
You can also test your intuition by seeing how many times you guess correctly which is the yes (or no) image.
To do the original exercise, you had to have another person handle the yes/no randomization, usually by writing “yes” and “no” on slips of paper, which would be put face down. Then you would be told to visualize and describe an object (usually a box, I have no idea why) on top of each slip of paper. Then you would choose the one you liked best, at which point you’d turn over that slip of paper to reveal the answer.
This is a lot easier!

Triples is a fun brain exercise puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The player selects three tiles from a random board of twelve that match according to certain rules. There is an easy mode so that the rules can be learned more quickly. A few themes are provided.
(There is a skull in one of the themes, which is why it’s rated for a “mild horror theme.” I really like that theme and didn’t want to leave it out. But hey, skull, just in case that freaks you out.)
High scores, challenges, a user community and more via Scoreloop!

A version of the Balls! app that’s more kid-friendly.
No preferences, no pause button, just pure entertainment.
Tilt to roll the balls, touch the screen to add a ball, touch a ball to blow it up. (If two like balls touch, they still blow up, though.)
Fun in the car (hold it flat and watch the balls react to acceleration, braking and turns.) (NOT for the driver!) Read the rest of this entry »

Burst the Bubble iPhone app is a simple yet addictive game from NotOnlyButAlso that players can easily pick up and play. The idea of the game in essence is to burst as many bubbles as possible. The player can only burst bubbles when the edges of two matching colour bubbles are touching (or multiple bubbles of the same colour). However the bubbles are growing all the time and if they reach the outer ring of the circular arena the bubbles burst and the player’s score is reduced.
