Robot Communications Inc. (ROBOT) is proud to announce the release of the iPhone application “Sound Trip”, which offers an audio walking guide with a built-in GPS system and is to be distributed free via App Stores throughout Japan.“Sound Trip” is part of ROBOT’s original contents development and it is the first project that has been produced by working with a design company macla inc. (macla) for its design phase.
What is “Sound Trip” ?
“Sound Trip” is an iPhone application that offers a walking audio guide in real time in order to introduce trendy courses in Tokyo. The contents will provide an audio guide for recommended places using actual positions in real time. The audio system guide will come with music that is composed exclusively for each place. The map can provide you with the actual position and the recommended spot detected by the GPS system. Overviews and interior views, menus and products of each area can be viewed by a manual slide show and those areas can be searched by scrolling the map. The GPS system would be able to provide you the actual position without network connection and let you know by a ringtone and vibration whenever you are near the recommended area or leaving the area.
