Card NinjaPosted in Card on 06 May 2009 |
The long wait is finally over and the updated version of Card Ninja for the iPhone and iPod Touch has launched in the Apple App Store for $0.99! We wrote to let you know about the launch way back in July and hoped to have the game live in a matter of a few days of our initial email. Instead we’ve spent the last month ninja-ing our way through some of the new challenges associated with Apple’s approval process. We’d like to thank you for your patience.
Card Ninja is a dynamic virtual card game that requires players to flick cards to the appropriate matching targets. As the player advances through incrementally difficult levels, the targets shrink and begin to move around the screen as cryptic wild cards are inserted into the mix to deliver skill-testing challenges. After its initial introduction earlier this summer, Card Ninja skyrocketed from outside the top 1,000 games to become the number two paid card game for the iPhone, and the 28th most downloaded game in the US. The game has been featured in the “New and Noteworthy” and “What’s Hot” sections of iTunes.
The updated version of the iPhone app allows players to save their games for maximum level-conquering and compare scores on a worldwide leaderboard to expose a community of skilled Ninja competitors.
PS. Stay tuned for the free version of the game, Card Ninja Lite, that’s currently in review and set to come out shortly
