There are apps for literally any thing you can think of (over 65,000 apps in the app store to be exact). However, just because there may be an app for something, does not necessarily mean that something is making a profit. The following article directly addresses such a plight as it directly pertains to various media company’s apps, and is certainly an interesting read that makes you wonder, can there be such a thing as too many apps?
