Bartlett test is important statistical procedure prior to the comparison of averages of more than two groups. This reveals the homogeneity of the variances of the groups. If significant (P is smaller than 0.05), the variances are not homogeneous, then Kruskal Wallis test / Friedman test will be used to compare the averages. If not-significant, one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) test will be used.
