TIP is the name of a technology that means Total Information Pages. It is a how our patent was filed and will hopefully become a well known acronym. We have a sizable investment in the TIP technology.

Our “TIPR” is a real-time feed of news/press releases delivered to your iPhone with a built-in contextual search.

We have a series of applications that will be rolled out this year using the TIP acronym. We are sorry for the confusion, but we can’t change the name of our technology at this point.

Tipr, the other application, is calculator for figuring out how much to give your server at a restaurant.

There's already a Tipr iPhone app that's for tipping. I've been using it since July of last year. It wasn't made by the same company either.
