Thanks. It’s a pretty cool app– I still think it would be a great one to have available in areas where internet access is not available. Like a campfire.

Hello Jon, since you are new to iPhone/iPod Touch, I’ll tell you some of the basic things that will help you. Most of the apps for iPhone/iPod Touch are web apps. You cannot download them to your device. You can use them by entering the corresponding link in the Safari Browser. Native application are just starting to develop just because Apple gave a permission for native apps only with the latest iPhone 2.0 Software Update. If you have the 2.0 software it doesn’t matter if your device is jailbroken or subscribed for the service. You only need any Internet connection. If you have the older software on your iPod than unfortunately you will not able to use native apps. So Modguitarscom is a web app. You can find downloadable apps in the Native Apps directory in the left upper corner on this site.

How does one download this application, or any other applications on this website, for that matter?
New to iPod touch, and I have “jailbroken” my touch, if that matters.

Like ‘R’ Said, it is a good looking app, however its not really a chord finder… It only seems to show you one way to play each chord…

That has limited uses. I wish it could find how to play one chord several different ways. [And if it does support this, how do I switch?]

Still, worth while to look at. Might be useful in a limited capacity.

Regards,
Frank

Nice looking app. But it would be a GREAT help to indicate which fingers went where.
