Hey this app is great. It could use page tabs also but well worth the money. I paid 85 alone for my quad. 15 for all this? Great price. And it weighs nothing because it’s a program. You can even read at work or anywhere you want.

hey i totally love this app. i can understand the griping about it costing 14.99 but i also respect the fact that you propably put a lot of time into creating this app and making sure everything was gramatically correct. so thankyou sooo much. you have no idea how jealous the guys at my singles ward are. :)

amy on August 12th, 2008 at 9:39 am

seriously…$14.99? It’s not like carrying around my scriptures was that big of a deal before I had an iphone. That just seems like a lot of money - especially compared with what other apps cost (or don’t cost).

Dear Nik, the downloadable version is not available yet. Scroll down the main page and see the Downloadable version section. You will find all the explanation there.

I want to put these on my touch, but can’t seem to figure out how… I see a nice interactive window of the program but can’t seem to find a way do download it… I am anxious to get them.

This is great! Do you think that you could get them in spanish also? I know that you can’t get KJV in spanish but another would be fine as long as it also had The BOM, D&C, and the Pearl of Great Price in Spanish… You would be my hero!

You totally ROCK!! I just bought the iPhone today, did a Goggle search for “scriptures on an iphone”, and came up with your site. I AM LDS, and I was so jazzed to see all the LDS scriptures for the iPhone. I have been taking a Palm to Church for 5 years, and thought I would have to keep doing so, but you’ve got the Priesthood manual, the hymnbook, and the scriptures, so I guess I can now use my iPhone!! What a blessing!! Thank you so much!!

This is probably the single most greatest thing ever invented. I left my scriptures at home and needed to read them for my Book of Mormon class and totally forgot so I read them with my ipod touch during stats class instead.

Fred on February 18th, 2008 at 9:34 pm

I second Dan above - I am totally ready for this on my touch -BUT- how to get it?

Devin on January 21st, 2008 at 11:05 pm

I’ve made native ebooks for all the scriptures in case you have an iPod touch or iPhone with no reception. There’s a tutorial at devincollier.com

Hey– loved the WebApp. Unfortunately I can’t get WiFi in the church building.

Kathy on October 8th, 2007 at 12:42 am

Thanks for doing this! Especially the hymns. Nice to have those on Sundays when I sit in the back and lack a hymn book.

Dan on August 23rd, 2007 at 12:13 pm

I just got an iphone. How do I get the LDS scriptures here on it? I click on the link, and nothing really happens.

John Rea on August 23rd, 2007 at 8:43 am

To the guy who quoted Galatians. It just so happens that an ANGEL did deliver the Book of Mormon to Joseph Smith.

Rene on July 18th, 2007 at 9:04 pm

Awesome. Thanks for getting the LDS Scriptures so quick. I was hoping this would happen soon. Thanks again from a very happy Mormon.

ATC on July 17th, 2007 at 12:26 pm

I have a question regarding this “search button” where is it? The guy says there is one but I can’t see it. Maybe I’m just not looking where I need to look. By the way thanks!!! I have been waiting for the scriptures to come out for the iphone so thanks again.

Aaron Edman on July 9th, 2007 at 10:56 pm

Thanks for putting this together. The search function alone puts this above the other one that was put on this site today. I like the navigation buttons on top too.

Michael Jensen on July 8th, 2007 at 11:38 pm

“null” errors have been fixed (they were only there for about an hour while I was fixing code, sorry), the source material is an open source (sourceforge) version of the scriptures, they are KJV.

Ryan on July 8th, 2007 at 7:23 pm

unreliable source material and I’m getting “null” errors on me phone.

BibleTed on July 8th, 2007 at 6:33 pm

Yuck, it’s horrible with the Moron books in there. Galatians 1:8 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. ” If this were free of these teachings it would be great!

CPC on July 8th, 2007 at 2:28 pm

Cool, but its missing 7 books. :(

Steve on July 7th, 2007 at 10:10 pm

you need to preference this app.
“Mormon scriptures” most people don’t read your scriptures and don’t want to read them. So if you would rename the application that would be great.

me on July 6th, 2007 at 11:29 pm

Looks Nice!

I was wondering if you might have considered buttons for the Chapters though, it would offer a denser selection to choose from numbers that were in a 4 by N grid like the home screen.

Mike on July 6th, 2007 at 11:21 pm

I like the new interface. Would love an NIV version.

Michael Jensen on July 6th, 2007 at 10:09 pm

I’ve fixed the interface, it is TONS better now! Enjoy!

Nathan on July 6th, 2007 at 1:05 pm

Thanks for doing this! I was thinking of doing something similar but you beat me to it. I would like to give it 5 stars but unfortunately the book tabs render very small, making it difficult to select them. I’m thinking you just need to set the viewport (see the new iPhone development guidelines).
